A deli owner, Rosario of Rosario Deli located under the Ditmars Boulevard train station has claimed to have been mugged by thugs with sticks, as reported by the Daily News on January 12th. The deli owner was going to his car on December 21st when he was attacked in the municipal parking lot. What has upset Rosario De Marco in the aftermath was the lack of a witness video due to the city parking lot surveillance video camera not working. " It's like like having a television without no screen. Why have a surveillance video camera if it's not doing the job? " a resident said. The city parking lot is located in the heart of the Ditmars shopping area and within a block from the 3 local politicians Vallone, Gianaris and Simotas.

CHEAPEST PIZZA PIE IN ASTORIA
THE RESTAURANT SPY GUY HAS LOCATED THE CHEAPEST 8 SLICE PIZZA PIE IN ASTORIA.
It seems to be that I am living in the 70's and 80's when pizza slices were below a buck. When I purchased a large pie at Best Yet Supermarkets, I could not believe the final cost to me. It was $ 4.61. Regular price for the 8 slice pie was $6.99 plus tax but then I was handed out a $3.00 discount voucher coupon which I gave to the cashier. A slice cost me about 58 cents and even without the voucher, I would have paid 95 cents per slice. Best Yet Supermarkets is located off 20th Avenue and 37th Street. The slices were eaten by kids and adults and their feedback was good. Even I said the quality and presentation was okay but needs little more attention in details. Giovanni, the deli catering man at Best Yet made the pizza.

Hors d'ouevres, open bar and dj music for the people who participated. " The ambiance, style and service were excellent. " said FPG. The restaurant is expected to close by 10 pm while the lounge bar will continue serving customers until late.
